BarnStorm Studio is founded by Phil Tuttle with more than 30 years experience as a commercial photographer, corporate video producer, published photo journalist, musician and former radio broadcaster. 
 

BarnStorm Studios was created during the pandemic when all photo services basically shut down. Our commercial experience provided a window of opportunity in professional architecture and property photography as a specialization, and so our new agency was born.

 

Since then, our service has expanded to include a full range of property promotion, from high-performing real estate listing galleries and custom 3d floor plan scanning to the retail store building foot traffic with our proven Google Maps 360 photo tours. There is no fluff in our offering. Our service menu provides proven effective solutions and we have the data to back it up.

 

No matter the project, we remain focused on the value of the finished image. Our Mission is to be a professional solution, delivering premium marketing media that converts online shoppers into happy customers.

  • Setting Appointments, Payments and File Delivery
    Setting an appointment for property photography is typically by text (or phone) at (810) 300-9422. Clients have the option of pre-selecting gallery photos through our proofing gallery provided immediately after the shoot, or we can upload our favorite selections for you with the number of photos you need to include for the listing- the choice is yours. You will receive an invoice email notice once the project is complete. Invoices are due upon receipt. Our online secure checkout accepts all major credit cards. Access to your files is provided through a gallery link or to your preferred MLS file uploading solution.
  • Prepare for Great Images!
    This Photography Preparation Checklist is our copyrighted guide to help prepare a home for quality listing photos. Download, review and share this guide as needed before the scheduled appointment.
  • What is your service area? Are there mileage fees?
    We serve all of southeast lower Michigan. (60 free miles per appointment to/from Port Huron, MI) Additional miles over 60 are charged .70 cents per mile. Out of area projects may require travel, accommodations and per-diem fees. Prices subject to change.
  • What if the photographer arrives and there is no key?
    Good communication between the agent, photographer and homeowner can go a long way toward a successful photo project. Due to travel time and scheduling, we will usually not be able to wait for a key. Repeat unsuccessful appointments may incur a $75.00 cancellation fee.
  • What if we need to cancel, or there is a weather delay?
    We understand that you may need to reschedule due to unforeseen issues. A 24 hour cancellation notice is appreciated. We shoot in a variety of weather conditions including light rain and snow. If severe weather is forecasted (to include lightning, downpours or worse), we may recommend a new appointment or we may shoot the interiors and return for exterior shots. The goal is to make the listing active asap.
  • Licensing and making the best use of your image files.
    Our standard real estate license policy allows us to retain ownership of the media we produce without limiting your use of the images through the term of the listing. Commercial projects requiring publication or advertising placement may require different licensing and pricing considerations. Make the most of your images on the MLS, print ads of the listing, Facebook and other social media. We do our best to ensure that every project we deliver brings consistent returns and high customer engagement. Please contact us with any questions.
