BarnStorm Studio is founded by Phil Tuttle with more than 30 years experience as a commercial photographer, corporate/broadcast video producer, published photo journalist, musician and former radio broadcaster.
BarnStorm Studios was launched at the onset of the pandemic when all photo services basically shut down.
Despite the lousy timing, our commercial photo and video experience allowed an opportunity for property promotion as a specialization, and so our agency was born.
Today, our service includes the most effective property marketing tools, from curated real estate listing galleries (with free 3d floor plan scanning) to our proven Google Maps 360 photo tours for customer-facing organizations who need to optimize Google search results. There is no fluff in our offering. Our service menu provides proven effective solutions and we have the data to back it up.

Setting Appointments, Payments and File DeliverySetting an appointment for property photography is typically by text (or phone) at (810) 300-9422 or ideally, through the booking calendar found at our service menu. We can interface directly with the client to book the appointment for maximum convenience. A pre-shoot checklist will be sent to the client for the best possible appointment result. Clients have the option of pre-selecting gallery photos through a proofing gallery provided immediately after the shoot, or we can expedite your order by making the photo selections for you based on the number of photos purchased for the listing- the choice is yours. Payment is made at the time clients book an order through the online booking calendar or an invoice generated after a telephone order is placed. Our online secure checkout accepts all major credit cards. Cancelled or postponed appointments can be promptly refunded per your request. Access to your files is provided through a gallery link or we can upload your files directly to your Multi Listing Service for time savings and agent convenience.

What is your service area? Are there mileage fees?We serve all of southeast lower Michigan. (60 free miles per appointment to/from Port Huron, MI) Additional miles over 60 are charged @ .70 cents per mile. Out of area projects may require travel, accommodations and per-diem fees. Prices subject to change.

What if the photographer arrives and there is no key?Good communication between the agent, photographer and homeowner can go a long way toward a successful photo project. Due to travel time and scheduling, we will usually not be able to wait for a key. Repeat unsuccessful appointments may incur a $75.00 cancellation fee.

What if we need to cancel, or there is a weather delay?We understand that you may need to reschedule due to unforeseen issues. A 24 hour cancellation notice is appreciated. We shoot in a variety of weather conditions including light rain and snow. If severe weather is forecasted (to include lightning, downpours or worse), we may recommend a new appointment or we may shoot the interiors and return for exterior shots. The goal is to make the listing active asap.

Licensing and making the best use of your image files.Our standard real estate license policy allows us to retain ownership of the media we produce without limiting your use of the images through the term of the listing. Commercial projects requiring publication or advertising placement may require different licensing and pricing considerations. Make the most of your images on the MLS, print ads of the listing, Facebook and other social media. We do our best to ensure that every project we deliver brings consistent returns and high customer engagement. Please contact us with any questions.
